Ang 13-year-old na si Alexandra Sydney ay anak ni Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA) Public Relation Officer (PRO) Dr. Alfredo “Fred” Paez na nagkampeon sa 26th Golden Mind Chess Tournament (Under-14) na ginanap sa EBR Building, Tagumpay Canteen, Tagumpay Supermarket, Lipa City, Batangas sa iskor nas 7.0 puntos .

Makakasama ni Alexandra Sydney sa kampanya ay sina 9-years-old Webster Lagera na Cabuyao City Kiddie Champion mula Cabuyao Central Elementary School at 13-years-old Oryza Reign Repato na Qualifier sa 2018 Batang Pinoy Finals na produkto din ni Cabuyao City Mayor Mel Gecolea.

Ito ang ika-2 pagkakataon na sumuporta ang Chooks to Go sa National Rapid Chess Championships.

“Ang Pilipino naman hindi lang pang-basketball, we are also very underrated with regards to mind games like chess,” sabi ni Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. president Ronald Mascariñas.

“With tournaments like this, we want to give more exposure to our woodpushers by facing quality opponents,” aniya.

Ang nasabing event ay sanctioned ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines na inorganisa ng Rotary Club of Nuvali at ng Muntinlupa City.

Pangungunahan nina Rotary Club of Nuvali president Noel Divinagracia at Bounty Agro Ventures Inc. president Ronald Mascariñas ang pagsasagawa ng opening ceremonial moves kasama sina MUntinlupa City mayor Jaime Fresnedi, vice mayor Celso Dioko at representative Ruffy Biazon.

Ipapatupad sa 2nd Chooks to Go National Rapid Chess Championships ang 7-round Swiss System Four Division Tournament na may time control twenty minutes (20) plus 5 seconds delay sa bawat manlalaro para tapusin ang laro.
