Tinalo ng 24-anyos nasi Kamille Alyssa P. Quinola, nurse sa Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital, ang nasa 26 na kandidata ng tourism pageant.

Si Kamille ang magiging pambato ng Pilipinas sa kauna-unahang Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2018 na nakatakdang idaos sa Maynila sa Oktubre.

Isang beterano ng mga beauty pageant, isinusulong si Kamille ang Ilocos Sur bilang ‘must-see destination sa Pilipinas.

Nang matanong kung ano ang espesyal sa Ilocos Sur, kumpiyansang sumagot ang beauty queen ng: “The smiles, the culture and the tradition and the values of our people are the top reasons that will leave you saying ‘sure Ilocos Sur!’ ”

Ayon kay Amy Sunio-Abarquez, CEO at President ng Miss Tourism Philippines pageant, ang patimpalak ay opisyal na inendorso ng Department of Tourism and Department of Interior and Local Government.

Kabilang naman sa iba pang mga nagwagi sina: Kathleen Tagle Gomez, Miss Tourism Philippines World; Jeniel Ela Estrella, Miss Tourism Philippines Universe; Loraine Joy Albana Arpia, Miss Tourism Philippines World Ambassador; at Krizzanthena Charla KC Babano, Miss Tourism Philippines Ambassador.

Runner-up naman sina: Jan Rose de Castro, 1st runner-up; Justine Fernandez, 2nd runner-up; Nina Monica Madrid, 3rd runner-up; at Shermain Rochelle Duave, 4th runner-up.

Wagi naman sa mga special awards sina Miss Malvar, Batangas (Gandang Amy-Tony Award); Miss Rosario, Batangas (Miss Media Live), Miss Balete, Batangas (Miss Photogenic, Miss Jergens, Miss MUD; and Miss Chateau Royale); Miss Ilocos Sur (national costume); Miss Nueva Vizcaya (long gown); Miss Isabela (swimsuit); at Miss Ilocos Sur, People’s Choice Award.

Habang nakuha naman ang Miss Charity ng Bacnotan, La Union; Miss Congeniality ng Zambales; Miss Talent ng Agoo, La Union; at Best Tourism Video ng Soccoro, Oriental Mindoro.
