Kabilang ang Nationals sa Group B na kinabibilangan din ng might China at mapanganib na Kazakhstan.

“Let’s admit it’s really a tough group but we should not be cowed,” pahayag ni Yu, personal na pinanood ang ensayo ng koponan nitong Miyerkoles kasama ang pakner niyang si Terry Que at Asian Coatings Philippines chairman Yu An Kun. “We also have good materials like them and we have an excellent motivational coach in Yeng Guiao,”aniya

“Knowing these players, they will do everything for the country. Great odds can bring the best out of these players,” pahayag naman ni Que

Haharapin ng Nationals, tampok ang anim na player mula sa EOS, ang Kazakhs sa Agosto 16 at ang China sa Agosto 21.

Kakailanganin ng ROS-led PH team ang isang panalo para makausad sa quarterfinal stage.

“For flag and country, we are willing to sacrifice our team and support the PH team,” pahayag ni Yu, patungkol sa dedikasyon ng kumpanya at bilang pagbibigay pugay sa ama na si Yu An Kun na dating miyembro ng PH football training team. “Our company is mightily proud to be of help to the national cause.”

“Deep in my heart, I know we will take part in the event because basketball has a calming effect to all Filipinos. It is very close to our hearts,” sambit ni Yu.
