Naisumite na ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang mga detalye sa mga insidente ng vote buying at iba pang paglabag sa election laws sa eleksiyon nitong Lunes.

“We have forwarded all the reports to Comelec which has the mandate to investigate and hold accountable all individuals, including government officials, who contravened election laws, rules and regulations,” sinabi kahapon ni DILG Assistant Secretary at Spokesperson Jonathan Malaya.

Aniya, ang nasabing mga ulat ay tinanggap ng DILG mula sa mga concerned citizen mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa, sa pamamagitan ni DILG Undersecretary for Barangay Affairs Martin Dino.

“We are pleased that our voters are now more vigilant and protective of their rights. We thank them for the reports we have received which we are now forwarding to the Comelec,” ani Malaya.
