Tampok ang 75 boys and girls namay edad 10-14 sa programa na itinataguyod ng Alaska.
Sina Cauley-Stein at Swoopes ay tutulong sa mga local coach para makapili ng top eight boys and eight girls namakakasama sa 2018 Jr. NBA Philippines All-Stars. Ang grupo ay bibiyahe sa

“Filipinos are among the most passionate basketball fans in the world and I’m eager to work with these dedicated young players who have earned the right to be chosen as Jr. NBA All-Stars,” sambit ni Cauley-Stein.
“I’m excited to share my basketball knowledge and help the kids become the best version of themselves on and off the court.”
“Participating in sports and having proper nutrition are both integral parts of a child’s holistic development as it touches on physical, emotional and mental well-being,” pahayag naman ni Swoopes.
“Through the Jr. NBA program, I look forward to this opportunity to contribute to our goal of getting more kids, especially girls, to play the game of basketball and help them understand how working hard on their craft in the same way it opened doors for my career, can unlock greater opportunities in life,” aniya.
Si Cauley-Stein at napili bilang 6th overall sa 2015 NBA Draft at itinanghal na NBA All-Rookie Second Team noong 2016. Naitala niya ang averaged 12.8 puntos, pitong rebounds, at 2.4 assists sa Kings.
Naglaro naman si Swoopes sa Houston Comets noong 1997 WNBA season. Isa siyang four-time WNBA Champion, six-time WNBA All-Star, three-time WNBA MVP at Olympic gold medalist. Kabilang siya sa WNBA’s Top 15 Players of All Time. Naglaro siya ng 12 season sa WNBA sa koponan ng Houston Comets, Seattle Storm at Tulsa Shock at iniluklok sa Naismith Memorial at Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame noong 2016 at 2017, ayon sa pagkakasunod.
Ang mga bata sa National Training Camp ay napili mula sa isinagawang Regional Selection Camps sa Bacolod, Baguio, Butuan at Metro Manila, gayundin mula sa Alaska Power Camps sa Manila at Subic.
