Ipinasa ng House Committee on Public Information ang panukalang batas na nag-oobliga sa movie, television at radio producers, promotion at advertising agencies, talent promoters at iba pa, na ideposito ang kita o talent fees ng child actors at actresses sa isang trust fund.
Pinagtibay ng komite sa pamumuno ni Masbate Rep. Scott Davies Lanete ang House Bill 681, na inakda ni Cagayan de Oro City Rep. Maximo Rodriguez.
“The trust fund shall be held in safekeeping by the bank, to earn legal interest, until the minor shall have reached the age of majority as defined by law,” nakasaad sa HB 681 - Bert De Guzman
