NAKATUON din ang pansin ng mga opisyal ng PTT Philippines, hindi lamang sa negosyo at pulitika, bagkus maging sa aspeto ng sports at pagsuporta sa mga gawaing pangkomunidad.

Sa simpleng ‘PTT Meets the Press’ na isinagawa kamakailan sa Café Amazon Training Center ng PTT sa Quezon City, ipinahayag nina PTT Philippines Marketing Director Thitiroj Rergsumran, PTT Director for Commercial Fuels & Lubricants Vittaya Viboonterawud, at Paul Senador, President of PTT Philippines Foundation, ang buong suporta at pagmamalasakit sa Pinoy consumers sa nakalipas na mga taon.

“PTT is here to supports sports. In Thailand, we sponsored the Moto GT, while we make sure to extend help in other sports here in the Philippines. During the Davis Cup tie with Thailand and Philippines, we’re cheering both team. Luckily, Thai wins,” pahayag ni Rergsumran.

Ikinalugod ni Rergsumran ang pagkakatulad ng Thailand at Pilipinas sa pagkahilig sa sports.

“Here in the Philippines, every street corner you can see basketball court even a makeshift. You really love sports. Back in Thailand, it’s very the same. We love football, tennis, muay thai and boxing,” aniya.

Ibinida naman ni Senador ang corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects ng PTT sa kanayunan, kabilang ang ‘operation tuli’ sa mga lalawigan ngayong panahon ng tag-init.

“Actually, we are very involve in mangrove planting in Cavite and other parts of the country were PTT has its plants and warehouses. Hundred percent, talagang imvolve kami sa mga program sa community,” pahayag ni Senador.

Ibinida rin niya ang programang ‘Toilet 20’ kung saan ang nalilikom, na 20 pesos mula sa mga parokyanong gumagamit ng CR sa mga gasoline station ng PTT ay ginagamit para sa pagpapagawa ng palikuran sa mga komunidad na kulang sa malinis at maayos na palikuran.

“We pattern this in Thailand,” sambit ni Viboonterawud.

Ayon kay Rergsumran, target din ng PTT na makapagtayo ng 30 bagong gasoline stations at karagdagang branches ng Café Amazon ngayong taon.
