WASHINGTON (AFP) – Sa daan-daang katanungan na ibinato kay Mark Zuckerberg ng mga mambabatas ng US nitong Martes, walang nagpatinag sa Facebook founder maliban sa diretsang tanong ni Senator Dick Durbin sa kung saan siya natulog ng nakaraang gabi.
“Would you be comfortable sharing with us the name of the hotel you stayed in last night?” tanong ni Durbin sa pagdinig tungkol sa online digital privacy, at sa papel ng Facebook’ sa kung ano ang nangyayari sa personal information sa oras na sumali ang users sa platform.
Napatigil nang ilang saglit si Zuckerberg, ngumiti at atubiling sumagot. “Um, uh, no,” aniya.

“If you’ve messaged anybody this week would you share with us the names of the people you’ve messaged?” dikdik ng Illinois Democrat. Muli ay atubili siyang sumagot.
“I think that might be what this is all about,” sinabi ni Durbin, 40 taong mas matanda kay Zuckerberg, 33-anyos.
“Your right to privacy, the limits of your right to privacy, and how much you give away in modern America in the name of connecting people around the world.”
Sumang-ayon siya sa punto ni Durbin. “I think everyone should have control over how their information is used,” ani Zuckerberg.
