Nagpahayag ng suporta ang China sa desiyon ng Pilipinas na kumalas sa Rome Statute.
“China believes that a sovereign country has the right to say no to political manipulation under the cloak of law,” sinabi ni Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang sa news briefing nitong linggo.
“The international community should give more understanding and support to those efforts instead of pointing fingers and casting blames,” ani Lu.
Nitong unang bahagi ng Marso, isinumite ng Pilipinas ang letter of withdrawal mula sa international treaty na nagtatatag sa ICC.
