BALIK sa simula ang paghahanap ng Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) ng bagong All-Star logo para sa 2018 edition matapos tuluyang ibasura ng liga ang naunang napiling disenyo.

Sa ulat ng PBA.ph, binawi ng committee na nagsasagawa ng 2018 All-Star Weekend logo contest ang panalo sa naunang napiling logo matapos mapatunayan na lumabag ito sa regulasyon ng pacontest.

Nauna nang tinimbrehan ni Jan “JBlaze” Nadal, dating E-Sports head ng Playpark Philippines, ang pamunuan ng Manila Bulletin Sports Online hingil sa panggagaya umano ng disenyo sa E-Sports.

“I was surprised when that logo came up, it looked too similar to the logo that me and my group made before during the conceptualization of the Playpark All-Stars last 2015,” pahayag ni Nadal.

“That logo has a lot of meaning when I, Arnel Duran and Mikey Marquez made it, especially to all our gamers that always took part in our annual event”

“I am proud of that logo. It was one of our milestones, that made a big difference in our game,” aniya.
