Sa ulat ni QC Fire Marshall Senior Supt. Manuel M. Manuel, nagliyab ang dalawang palapag na bahay ni Pelino Tabon, sa Area 6-B, Barangay Botocan ng nasabing lungsod, dakong 6:10 ng gabi.

Sa pagsisiyasat ni Chief Insp. Rosendo V. Cabillan, hepe ng Investigation and Intelligence Division ng BFP sa Quezon City, mabilis na kumalat ang apoy at nilamon ang 150 bahay na pawang gawa sa lights materials.

Umabot sa 30 fire truck ang rumesponde sa lugar at umabot sa ikalimang alarma ang sunog bago naapula pasado 12:00 ng hatinggabi.

Ayon sa arson investigators, dahil sa ilegal jumper, na sinasabing negosyo ni Tabon, ang sanhi ng insidente.

Nabatid pa sa imbestigasyon na bandang 6:00 ng gabi ay nag-inspeksiyon ang Manila Electric Company (Meralco) sa lugar at pagkatapos ay muling ikinabit ng mga residente ang mga jumper.

Aabot sa P2 milyon ang halaga ng mga ari-ariang naabo.

Pinaghahanap na ng awtoridad si Tabon.
