Nakolekta ni Sinangote, top player ng Maravril enterprises, ang kabuuang 6.5 puntos mula sa anim na panalo at isang tabla sa Seven Round Swiss system tournament na inorganisa ng Batch 1983 ng Don Honorio Ventura College of Arts and Trade (DHVCAT) sa pakikipagtulungan ni Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (DHVTSU) SUC President III Enrique G. Baking.

Sina National Master Ronald Llavanes, National Arbiter Alfredo Chay, Mr. Jose Fernando Camaya, Mr. Edward Serrano at Mr. Ashley Quiazon ang nangasiwa sa nasabing chessfest.

Si Recarte Tiauson, Technical Support Representative ng RingCentral sa Worldwide Corporate Center Building sa Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City ay nasa solo second place na may 6.0 puntos.

Nagtabla naman sina sina United States chess master Almario Marlon Bernardino Jr., Adrian Perez, Alexis Emil Maribao at Rodolfo Panopio Jr. na may 5.5 puntos, ngunit nakamit ni Bernardino ang third place honors via tie break.

Walang gurlis ang kampanya ni Bernardino na may apat na panalo at tatlong tabla. Pinasalamatan niya ang suporta nina ABC president Marlon Manalo, chairman ng Barangay Malamig sa Mandaluyong City, Philippine Executive Chess Association(PECA) president Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, Dr. Jenny Mayor, Dr. Alfredo Paez, National Master (NM) Efren Bagamasbad, International Memory Champion Roberto Racasa, Olympian Woman National Master (WNM) Cristina Santos, 1996 Philippine Junior Champion National Master Roberto Suelo Jr.at Jaime Tiburcio.
