Ginapi ni Andrei, ang No. 1 seed sa boys’ 14-under class, si second seed Axl Lajon Gonzaga, 6-7 (9), 6-4, 6-1 sa championship match.
“I am happy to win. I am dedicating my victory to my mother who is in the hospital right now,” sambit ng 12-anyos na si Andrei.
Target ni Andrei, kasalukuyang No. 2 sa Philippine Tennis Association (Philta) national rankings, na makalahok sa World Juniors Championships.
Carlos Yulo, Aira Villegas at Nesthy Petecio, natanggap na house and lot incentives!
Nagwagi naman si Marielle, seeded No. 2 sa girls’ 12-under category, kontra top seed Angeline Alcala ng Lucena City, Quezon, 6-3, 7-6 (1).
Si Andrei ay Grade 7, habang si Marielle ay Grade 5 sa Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University.
