NAGSIMULA ng 9:00 PM ang programa ng Gawad Parangal ng 43rd Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) sa Kia Theater sa Araneta Center, Quezon City, in cooperation with Viva Live, hosts sina Paolo Bediones at 2016 Bb. Pilipinas International Kylie Versoza.
Nag-perform sa production numbers ang representatives mula sa eight official entries ng MMFF. Isa sa kinatuwaan ang pagsayaw ng 5-year old child actor na si Baeby Baste na nanalong Best Child Performer, ng kanyang first recording na Bastelicious at ang theme song ng movie nilang Meant To Beh.
Tumanggap ng tig-anim na awards ang Ang Larawan at Siargao, apat naman sa Ang Panday.
