GANAP nang international star si Bailey May ngayong napili siya ng American Idol producer na si Simon Fuller upang maging bahagi ng global pop group na Now United.

Kinumpirma ng Star Magic artist ang magandang balitang ito kamakailan. Hindi niya akalain na magkakatotoo ang kanyang ultimate dream nang siya ang masuwerteng napili mula 50 participants na naging bahagi ng Now United bootcamp.

“My heart was racing, I was so nervous. I thought my life could change in a matter of minutes and then Simon Fuller said my name and then like just a burst of happiness rushed through my body. Ever since then it’s been on my mind, I feel like I’m bringing you all here (in LA) and I’m proud to represent our country,” sabi ni Bailey.

Pagkaraan ng ilang buwan simula nang lumipad si Bailey sa Los Angeles kasama ang iba pang nag-audition sa Now United, siya ang napisil na maging bahagi ng bagong miyembro ng grupo.

“Yeah I’m very proud because there are three other people who came to audition to Now United. And to be able to represent the Philippines, the place where I grew up, where I was born is just a dream come true,” he said.

Aminado ang former Pinoy Big Brother teen housemate na hindi biro ang ang trainings sa bootcamp at malaking tulong ang mga natutuhan niya sa ABS-CBN para mapili sa Now United. Ngayong iba na ang tatahaking career ni Bailey, tiniyak niya na lalo niyang pagbubutihin para maipagmalaki siya ng mga kababayan dito sa ‘Pinas.

Opisyal at huling ini-reveal si Bailey sa kumumpleto sa culturally-diverse 14-member sing at dance group na iikot sa buong mundo para sa kanilang series of shows.

Samantala, project manager ng Now United na si Yonta Taiwo mismo ang nagkumpirma na maraming aabangang proyekto mula sa grupong kinabibilangan ngayon ni Bailey.

“We’re currently in the process of selecting because there are lots of offers coming from different promoters throughout Asia and internationally. So we’re just assessing where the best place is to be the launchpad for Now United,” sabi ni Yonta.

Tiniyak naman ni Bailey na mananatili pa rin siyang Kapamilya at nagpaabot din siya ng pasasalamat sa kanyang fans.

“I’m still a Kapamilya. Sobrang miss ko kayo at maraming salamat sa suporta sa akin. Since day one, you’ve been supporting me and I’m so blessed to have you as a fan of mine. You know I pray that the future has good things for us as a fanbase. Mahal ko kayo,” sabi niya.
