IBINASURA ng isang korte ang hirit na “writ of injunction” ng Global Mobile Online Corporation (Globaltech) upang pigilan ang deklarasyon ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO)na illegal ang operasyon ng “ peryahan ng Bayan”.
Ibinaba ang dalawang pahina na utos na may petsang Oktubre 13, 2017 ni Presiding Judge Nicanor A. Manalo Jr. ng Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 161.
“All told, the Motion for Issuance of Writ of Injunction is denied for lack of merit and the parties are directed upon reciept of order to arbitrate pursuant to the Special Rules of Court on Alternative Dispute Resolution,” ayon kay Manalo.
“Going into the merits of the instant case, it appears that the court has already issued an order partially granting PCSO’s Motion for Reconsideration and directing the parties to submit the issue for arbitration only after Global Tech’s posting of a surety bond. With the said directive and posting of the bond, the parties could now proceed to arbitration,”dagdag nito.

Kinumpirma naman ito nina PCSO General Manager Alexander Balutan at PCSO Chairman Jose Jorge Corpuz subalit tumanggi namunang magbigay ng detalye pero sinabing “welcome na welcome” ang utos ng korte pabor sa ahensiya.
Sinabi din ng mga ito na merong naka-binbin na petisyong inihain ng ahensiya sa Court of Appeals (CA) na humihingi naman ng “temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction” laban sa arbitrasyon sa isyu.
Noong Marso 2016, winakasan ng PCSO ang otorisasyon ng Globaltech sa operasyon nito sa peryahan at idineklarang illegal dahil sa samut’-saring paglabag nito sa kasunduan bukod sa hindi pagre-remit ng kaukulang kita sa gobyerno.
Sinimulan ang “test run” ng peryahan noong 2014.
Ayon kay Balutan, ang peryahan sa kasalukuyan ang isa sa mga klaseng illegal na sugal na sumasabotahe sa Small Town Lottery (STL) ng PCSO, ang tanging legal numbers game sa bansa.
