PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida (AP) — Umamin ng kanyang pagkakamali si Tiger Woods nitong Biyernes (Sabado sa Manila) sa kasong reckless driving bilang bahagi ng kasunduan para maresolba ang kanyang kaso.
Inaresto si Woods sa gitna ng highway matapos malango sa prescription drugs at marijuana.
Hindi na nagpaunlak ng panayam si Woods matapos ang hearing sa Palm Beach County courthouse. Binalaan siya ng prosecutors na umayos upang makaiwas sa gusot.
“This particular plea agreement has no jail time on it. However, if you violate your probation in any significant way, I could revoke your probation and then I could sentence you to jail for 90 days with a fine of up to $500, is that understood?” pahayag ni Judge Sandra Bosso-Pardo.
Sasailalim din ang 41-anyos na si Woods sa diversion program at isang taong probation at pinagbayad ng US$250 fine at gastos a hearing. Nauna nang tinapos ni Woods ang 50 hours community service sa Tiger Woods Foundation, ayon kay Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Aronberg.
“This is designed for first-time offenders, where the person made a one-time mistake and they’re going to overcome it,” sambit ni Aronberg. “Mr. Woods was treated like any other defendant in his situation.”
Hindi rin pinapayag si Woods na uminom ng alak at kailangang sumailalim sa drug test.
