Tinatalakay ngayon ng mga mambabatas ang pagkakaloob ng angkop na benepisyo sa pagreretiro ng pitong mahahalagang sangay ng gobyerno, partikular ang Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine National Police (PNP).
Isang technical working group (TWG) ng House Committee on Government Enterprises and Privatization at House Committee National Defense and Security ang umaayos sa House Bills 1137 at 5673, kapwa may titulong “Unified Uniformed Personnel Retirement Benefits and Pension Reform Act”.
Makikinabang rito ang mga miyembro ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Corrections (BuCor), at National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA). - Bert De Guzman
