TARGET ni Filipino-Australian kickboxing champion Michael Badato na makasambot ng kasaysayan bilang kauna-unahang World Lethwei Champion sa pagsabak sa WLC: Legendary Champions sa Nobyembre 4 sa Myanmar.

Gamit sa Lethwei discipline ang tradisyunal na Burmese martial art tulad ng punches, kicks, elbows, knees at headbutts. Itinututin itong ‘purest form’ sa striking martial arts sa mundo.

Ipinanganak si Badato sa Pilipinas at lumaki sa Australia.

“It’s super exciting for me to be able to get back into action after not fighting for a year,” sambit ni Badato. “I spent that time with my family but now, I can’t wait to step back into the ring and show why I’m the best Middleweight on the planet.”

Makakaharap ni Badato si Too Toom isa sa itinuturing alamat sa naturang sports.

Isanng purong striker, hindi pa natatalo si Too Too sa 35 na laban, habang tangan niya ang 13 tabla. Kabilang sa tinalo niya ang mga beteranong sina Eddie Farrell at James Benal.

“I was at the last event, one of my boys competed and I had the chance to witness Too Too in action. He is very good and I was impressed so I’m really looking forward to this fight,” aniya.

“It will be a tough challenge but I think I can leave with that amazing World Lethwei Championship belt around my waist.”
