Nadomina ng NHHS ang La imaculada Catholic School, 104-73, sa championship duel kamakailan sa Barangay San Antonio gymnasium sa Pasig City.
Pinangasiwaan ni multi-titled coach Beaujing Acot, ratsada ang Saints sa naiskor na 14-0 run sa kaagahan ng third period tungo sa one-sided win sa torneo na nagtatampok sa mga eskwelahan sa lungsod ng Pasig.
“It was a good game for both teams despite our winning margin. We’re lucky we managed to stop their outside shooters,” pahayag ni Acot.
“I would like to acknowledge the efforts of LICS and coach Joel Palapal for giving their best shot.”
“It was a total team effort for NJHS. We worked hard for this fane and sacrificed a lot. To God be the glory,” pahayag naman ni assistant coach Migs Geronimo.

Samantala, makikipagtulungan ang NJHS sa Pinoy Youth Dreamers para katawanin ang bansa sa 6th Asia Pacific Basketball Youth Cup sa Oktubre 26-29 sa Singapore.

Itinataguyod ang pagsabk ng NJHS at PYD ng Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP), Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), sa pakikipagtulungan ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Mayor Bobby Eusebio, Vice Mayor Iyo Caruncho at Pasig City Council.
Naghahanda rin ang NJHS sa pagsabak sa PAPRISAA secondary basketball division sa Nobyembre.
