ZAMBOANGA CITY – Isinuko ng mga sibilyan sa militar nitong Biyernes ang dalawang improvised explosive device (IED) ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) makaraang matagpuan ang mga ito sa teritoryo ng mga bandido.
Ayon kay Joint Task Force Central Commander Maj. Gen. Arnel Dela Vega, ang mga bomba, na may bigat na limang kilo, ay isinuko ng mga residente sa Loudspeaker Class 01-2017, bandang 8:00 ng umaga nitong Biyernes.
Ang Loudspeaker Class 01-2017 ay binubuo ng 19 na estudyante, at mga tauhan ng Civil Military Operations Battalion, sa Sitio Gadong, Barangay Pagatin 2 sa Datu Salibo, Maguindanao.

Sinabi ng mga residente na natagpuan nila ang mga bomba sa Bgy. Tee sa Datu Salibo, na kilalang balwarte ng BIFF.
“Troops were on community immersion and field training exercise in areas where residents are influenced by the BIFF.
This prompted the residents to surrender the improvised explosives to the government forces,” ani Dela Vega.
