Tanggap ng Malacañang ang desisyon ng pitong party-list representatives na miyembro ng Makabayan bloc na kumalas sa majority coalition sa Kamara.
“We take due notice of the decision of the seven party-list representatives belonging to the Makabayan bloc to leave the House of Representatives majority coalition. We were hopeful that they would remain open to working together with the Administration, particularly on pro-poor, pro-people issues,” pahayag ni Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella.
Nagdesisyon ang mga makakaliwang kongresista na kumalas sa administrasyon matapos ibasura ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang appointment nina dating Agrarian Reform secretary Rafael Mariano at dating Social Welfare secretary Judy Taguiwalo.
