Pinapurihan ng Malacañang ang koponan ng Pilipinas na patuloy na humahakot ng medalya sa 2017 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia kahapon ng umaga.

Ito ay matapos 17 atletang Pinoy ang nakuha ng mga medalya, lima ay ginto, nitong Martes.

Nagbigay naman ng silver medals para sa Pilipinas sina Nathaniel Perez sa Men’s Foil Individual ng Fencing Competition; Jayson Ramil Macaalay, Male Kumite Event Under 60-kilogram ng Karate-Do Competition; Rexor Tacay, Male Kumite Event Under 67-kilogram ng Karate-Do Competition; Cray, Men’s 100-meter Dash Athletics; at

Hanniel Abella sa Women’s Epee Individual Fencing.

Nagdagdag ng bronze medals sina Harlene Raguin sa Women’s Epee Individual Fencing; Junna Tsukii sa Female Kumite--50-kilogram Event of the Karate-Do Competition; Roxanne Ashley Yu, Women’s 200-meter (Backstroke) Swimming; Evelyn Palabrica, Women’s Javelin Throw Athletics; Orencio James delos Santos sa Men’s Kata-Individual Event of the Karate-Do Competition; Richard Gonzales, Men’s Individual Table Tennis; at Ian Clark Bautista sa Boxing Flyweight Division.

Sa tala noong Martes, ang Pilipinas ay mayroon nang 8 gold medal, 11 silver, at 13 bronze, ayon kay Abella.
