IPINAHAYAG ng ilang stars ang kanilang pagkabigla, pagkondena at opinyon sa naganap na white nationalist rally sa Charlottesville, Virginia, nitong Sabado.

Idineklara ng mga opisyal ang state of emergency sa Charlottesville ilang minuto makalipas ang 11:00 ng tanghali nang dumagsa ang daan-daang katao upang mag-rally na nakasuot ang ilang kalalakihan ng uniporme ng militar, may dalang mga panangga at baril bilang protesta sa desisyon ng lungsod na alisin ang bantayog ni Confederate General Robert E. Lee.

Use hashtag #BeKind #ThisIsNotUS to tweet positive messages. #Charlotte.”

Ipinahayag naman ni Zendaya sa Instagram ang kanyang komento sa karahasan at mga chemical spray na ginamit sa rally, at tinawag pang “terrorism” ang naturang pangyayari.

“I really don’t know what to say... but this is terrorism,” aniya sa caption ng video ng rally. “This is America TODAY... not 40 years ago, and your president is silent. Disgusting.”

Kalaunan ay nag-post si President Donald Trump sa Twitter, aniya, “We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Lets come together as one!”

Nagpahayag din ng pagkadismaya at opinyon ang ilang celebrity:

Saad ni Kim Kardashian West sa kanyang post, “How tragic that this is what we’ve come to. My prayers are with those in Charlottesville & every American who is the target of hate & violence.”

Post ni Mark Hamill, “Come together as one: Even you losers-haters-Mexican rapists-”heroes” who were captured-women who are less than 10’s-the lyin’ & low-energy!”

Tweet naman ni Jamie Chung, “Where were the police!? Why were they not there to protect the public from these bigots #Charlottesville.”

Hindi rin napigilan ni Laura Marano na maglabas ng saloobin sa Twitter, “Heartbroken, upset and just so confused about the violence in Charlottesville....thinking of all the people who were affected.”
