ISASABAK ng San Beda College sina Cameroonians Donald Tankoua at Arnauh Noah, ngunit ipapahinga si Nigerian Toba Eugene sa kanilang kampanya para sa back-to-back title sa 93rd NCAA basketball tournament na magsisimula sa Hulyo 8 sa MOA Arena sa Pasay City.

"After hours of deliberation, we decided that Tankoua and Noah should stay as San Beda's foreign players in Season 93," pahayag ni San Beda team manager Jude Roque.

Balik aksiyon si Tankoua, starter sa nakalipas na season bago nagtamo ng ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury sa second round ng elimination, sapat para mangibabaw si Noah na tinanghal na Finals MVP sa nakalipas na taon.

Kinumpleto naman ng 20-anyos na si Eugene ang kanyang ‘residency’ bago maglaro sa Red Lions.

Inaasahang starter si Noah at makakasama si Tankoua sa second round ng elimination.

"Donald will play minimal minutes in the first round because we expect him to be in full strength in the second round," sambit ni Roque.

Makakasama nina Noah at Tankoua sa matikas na bench ng Lions sina Robert Bolick , bida sa impresibong kampanya ng San Beda sa katatapos na Premier Cup, gayundin sina Jayvee Mocon, Jose Presbitero, Ben Adamos, AC Soberano at rookie transferees Clint Doliguez at 6-8 Kenmark Carino.

"Thanks to our pre-season victory, we are all ready to defend our title," aniya.
