“We need to know and to determine the responsibility and the liability, if any, of anyone which made possible the tragic events at Resorts World Manila,” ani Aguirre.
“Whoever is responsible for allowing this tragedy to occur should be made accountable under our laws and before our courts,” diin niya.
Sa Department Order, sinabi ng DoJ chief sa NBI na ito ay “directed and granted authority to conduct investigation and case build-up over the shooting incident at Resorts World Manila, Pasay City, last 02 June 2017 which led to numerous death and injury.”
Ipinag-utos din ni Aguirre na alamin “whether there is criminal, civil, administrative culpability against the owners, managers and employees of Resorts World Manila” at maging “any agency, office and instrumentality of the government.”
Bukod dito, iniutos din sa NBI “to file appropriate charges thereon, if any, as evidence may warrant.”
“The ultimate goal is to file appropriate charges, if any, as the evidence may warrant. Tragedies like these should not be allowed to happen again,” aniya.
Ildebrando Usana, deputy chief of the Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA), nakausap na nila ang mga opisyal ng NC Lanting Security Specialist Agency.
“We are looking at the aspect of administrative matters that might have been violated,” ani Usana.
“There will be a review if the DOJ orders such,” ani Abella.
“It will be up to Secretary Aguirre if he will order a review on Senator De Lima’s legal opinion,” dagdag niya.
