Sampung taong makukulong ang isang dating alkalde ng Pampanga dahil sa ilegal na pagdo-donate ng sasakyan ng pamahalaan sa isang pribadong organisasyon noong 2010.
Ayon sa desisyon ng Sandiganbayan, napatunayang nagkasala si dating Angeles City Mayor Francis Nepomuceno sa paglabag sa Sections 3 (e) at 3 (g) ng Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act (RA 3019).
Nag-ugat ang kaso sa pagbibigay ni Nepomuceno sa Mitsubishi Adventure ng gobyerno sa Kapanalig Angeles City, Inc. bilang donasyon noong Hunyo 2010.
Bukod sa dating alkalde, hinatulan din ng kaparehong parusa si Abelardo Pamintuan, presidente ng nabanggit na non-stock organization at kaalyado ni Nepomuceno sa pulitika.

“It is readily seen that the deed of donation executed by accused Nepomuceno is manifestly and grossly disadvantageous to the government because there is no lawfully acceptable justification for his blatant disregard of pertinent rules on the proper disposal of local government property vis-à-vis his mandated responsibility to enforce all laws relative to the governance of the city. For his actions, the city government was deprived of the use of its serviceable vehicle,” sabi pa ng anti-graft court. (Rommel P. Tabbad)
