SASABAK ang 12-man Philippine bowling team, sa pangunguna nina Philippine International Open Masters champions Kenneth Chua at Lara Posadas, sa 49th Singapore Open International Bowling Championships.

Sa panayam ng DZSR Sports Radio, ipihayag ni national coach Jojo Canare na naghahanda na ang koponan para sa torneo nakatakdang ganapin sa Hunyo 5-11 sa Temasek Club bowling center.

Ang torneo ay sanctioned ng Asian Bowling Federation at World Bowling Congress.

Maliban kina Chua at Posadas ang iba pang mga Pinoy bowlers na sasabak sa Singapore Open ay sina Liza del Rosario, Krizziah Tabora, Dyan Coronacion, Mades Arles, Alexis Sy, Kevin Cu, Jomar Jumapao, Merwin Tan, JP Macatala, at Anton Alcazarin.
