Makatatanggap ng tulong ang mga overseas Filipino worker (OFW) na apektado ng pag-atake ng grupong Maute sa Marawi City mula sa Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
Sa isang mensahe sa text, inihayag ni OWWA administrator Hans Cacdac na inaprubahan ng OWWA Board of Trustees ang resolusyon na naglalaan ng P100 milyon tulong pinansiyal sa mga apektadong OFW.
“The calamity component involves cash assistance amounting to P3, 000 for active members and P1, 000 for inactive members. Our Region 10 director is on the ground in Iligan and CDO (Cagayan de Oro) determining the amount (to be given to the) beneficiaries. Distribution will happen in the coming week,” ani Cacdac.
