“We appeal to the sons and daughters of OFWs to call their parents especially their mothers to express their love and gratitude to them,” pahayag ni Balanga Bishop Ruperto Santos sa isang panayam.

“Let us take this opportunity to appreciate their sacrifices and be grateful to their services,” dagdag niya.

Ipinaalala ng tagapamuno ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on Migrants and Itinerant People sa mga anak ng OFW ang paghihirap ng kanilang magulang upang mabigyan sila ng magandang kinabukasan.

“Mothers are always ready to do everything and assume all hardships provided their children will be safe, secured and successful in life,” ani Santos.

“Away from homes and separation from loved ones are continuous sufferings on their parts. And they continue to bear this pain only for the betterment of the future of their families,” dagdag niya.

“Promise through their studies they will bring them honor,” sambit ni Santos.

“Remind your parents of your love, pray for them always and you will be successful because of them,” ayon pa kay Santos. (Leslie Ann G. Aquino)
