MOSCOW (PNA/TASS) — Maaaring bawiin ng Russia ang ipinagkaloob na citizenship sa isang indibiduwal na sumali sa teroristang grupong Islamic State, sinabi ni President Vladimir Putin sa isang panayam ng Mir 24 TV channel.

“In line with the Russian constitution, we cannot strip anyone of their citizenship. However, we may cancel relevant decisions that served as a basis for obtaining the Russian citizenship. We will consult with our lawyers and I think that such decisions will be made in the near future,” aniya.

Ang pahayag ni Putin ay reaksiyon sa parehong inisyatiba ng katabing Kazakhstan.

Sinabi Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev noong Martes na hububaran ng citizenship ang sinumang mamamayan ng bansa na sumali sa mga militanteng samahan. “This is a necessary measure,” diin niya.
