MEXICO CITY (AP) – Sinabi ng Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico nitong Linggo na ang mga kumpanyang Mexican na interesadong magtrabaho sa itatayong border wall ng United States ay pinagtataksilan ang kanilang bansa.
Binanggit ng archdiocese sa isang editorial na may mga kumpanyang Mexican na nagpahayag ng kahandaang mag-supply ng mga materyales o magtatrabaho sa pader na ipinanunukala ni U.S. President Donald Trump. Tinututulan ng Mexico ang pader.
Ang editorial ay pinamagatang “Treason against the Homeland,” at nagsasabing “what is most surprising is the timidity of the Mexican government’s economic authorities, who have not moved firmly against these companies.”
“Any company that intends to invest in the fanatic Trump wall would be immoral, but above all, their owners and shareholders will be considered traitors to the homeland,’’ saad sa editorial.
