Ginapi ng kambal ang tambalan nina Jhonel Badua at Joeward Presnede ng Lyceum of the Philippines, 21-16, 20-22, 17-15, sa finals ng men’s beach volleyball ng NCAA Season 92 nitong weekend sa Moon Bay Marina Area sa Subic Bay.
Hindi na mahalaga na nagawa nila ito nang pahirapan matapos matalo sa unang laban, 15-21, 21-16, 15-13, para maipuwersa ng Pirates ang serye sa ‘do-or-die’. Tangan ng Perpetual ang ‘twice-to-beat’ na bentahe matapos walisin ang elimination round.

“We just want to get the championship whether or its a sweep or not,” sambit ni Rey, Jr.
Kabilang ang kambal sa Perpertual indoor volleyball team na nagapi ng St. Benilde sa finals kamakailan.
“The team and the school are redeemed in so many ways after what happened last year in this event and in indoor volleyball this year,” pahayag ni Relan. “Somehow, the pain of those losses are gone now.”
