Humingi na ng tulong ang Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) sa kanilang mga partner sa international organization para sa mga biktima ng lindol sa Surigao del Norte.
Ayon kay Father Edu Gariguez, executive secretary ng CBCP National Secretariat for Social Action Justice & Peace, humingi na sila ng tulong sa Caritas Netherlands (Cordaid).
Samantala, patuloy na tumatanggap ang Caritas Manila ng donasyon, cash and in kind, para sa mga biktima ng lindol.
“The donations will be used to meet the relief and rehabilitation needs of our kababayans in Surigao Del Norte and nearby areas of Mindanao. Their most immediate needs include clean water, food, clothes and hygiene items,” ayon sa Caritas Manila.
