Hinimok nina Leyte Rep. Yedda Marie Kittilstvedt-Romualdez, Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, at MAGDALO party-list Rep.
“There is no substitute for peace and we must pursue it at all cost. If only the two sides could agree on common points and decide to face each other in the negotiating table once again, then we can surely expect a better and more progressive future for our country,” aniya.
Sinabi naman ni Barbers, chairman ng House Committee on Dangerous Drugs, na, “I hope that both sides will give peace another chance because we cannot address poverty if our brothers (soldiers and rebels) will continue to fight each other.”
“The continued attacks by NPA would only mean two things: its either the CPP does not have control over the NPA or they are insincere in the peace talks,” sabi ni Alejano.
“I call on the government and NDF to tone down their accusations and set aside differences and go back to the negotiating table,” aniya pa.
