KUMPIYANSA si Brazilian Alex “Little Rock” Silva na malalampasan niya ang hamon ni Pinoy striker Roy Doliguez sa kanilang sagupaan na bahagi ng undercard sa ONE: THRONE OF TIGERS na gaganapin sa 2,000-capacity Stadium Negara sa Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Sa kabila ng pagiging liyamado sa nakatakdang three-round strawweight encounter, hindi dapat pakasiguro ang Brazilian fighter bunsod ng kahusayan ni Dolinguez sa stand-up boxing.

Isang dating pro boxer si Doliguez na naging kampeon sa WBO Asia Pacific light flyweight division noong 2002. May kabuuang 50 pro fight ang nasalangan ng Pinoy.

“I know he has a good striking game because he is a boxer. He is also explosive and strong,” sambit ni Silva.

Iginiit ni Silva, kakatawan sa Evolve MMA, na sanay siya sa dikitang laban, gayundin sa main event fight ng ONE Championship.

“I am very well prepared in any situation of the fight because everyday I train and spar with the legends and world champions of Muay Thai at Evolve MMA. Roy Doliguez is a good striker, but I know I can match his skills in striking,” aniya.

Napabantog sa sports si Silva, isang world-class Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, sa istilong pinagsama ang bilis at lakas.

Naitala niya ang submission win sa huling apat na laban.

“I believe in my skills as I have trained hard in all aspect for the fight. But for sure, my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background is something special because I have been training that discipline for my whole life. Whoever I face in a fight, my grappling skills are my strong element,” pahayag ng 34-anyos mula sa Sao Paulo , Brazil.
