WASHINGTON (AFP) – Idinepensa ng gobyerno ng US nitong Lunes ang travel ban ni President Donald Trump na ‘’lawful exercise’’ ng kanyang awtoridad, at iginiit na nagkamali ang federal court sa pagharang sa pagpapatupad nito.
‘’The executive order is a lawful exercise of the president’s authority over the entry of aliens into the United States and the admission of refugees,’’ nakasaad sa argumentong inihain ng mga abogado ng Justice Department sa Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
‘’The district court therefore erred in entering an injunction barring enforcement of the order,’’ ayon dito.
