Pinayuhan kahapon ni Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III ang Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na kunin ang serbisyo ng mga opisyal ng barangay para sa maayos na daloy ng trapiko.
Ayon kay Pimentel, may kakayahan at karanasan ang mga opisyal ng barangay sa Metro Manila at urban centers katulad ng Cebu, Davao at Cagayan de Oro.
“In our continuing search for solutions to the traffic gridlocks, we have to engage our barangay chiefs who have intimate knowledge of their locality. They are in the best position to help direct traffic in streets of their respective areas,” ani Pimentel. (Leonel M. Abasola)
