Ayon kay Georgina Hernandez, tagapagsalita ni Robredo, naniniwala ang Vice President na dapat maging bahagi ng mas komprehensibong programa sa kalusugan ang pamamahagi ng condom na isinusulong ng Department of Health (DoH) para malabanan ang human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) at acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).

“As she supports the administration’s family planning policy, she has long pushed for a holistic package, which includes education and informed choices,” ani Hernandez.

Sinabi ng Vice President na ang planong pamamahagi ng condom sa mga eskuwelahan ay maaaring makabuti o makasama.

“This can be good if it is part of a bigger program to educate people before these are given to them. But for me, if it is just for the sake of just giving out, that is dangerous.
