MAGBABALIK ang makabuluhang Jr. NBA Philippines sa Enero 20 hanggang Mayo 14.
Layunin ng programa na maturuan ang mga kabataan – lalaki at babae – nang tamang kaalaman sa sports mula sa basic dribble hanggang sa mas mataas ng antas.
Bukod dito, mas pinalawak ng programa ang community service sa pamamagitan ng NBA Cares.
Itinataguyod din ng Alaska, ang basketball clinic ay libre at bukas para sa mga kabataan na may edad 10-14.
Nakapaloob sa programa ang skills clinics sa eskwelahan at komunidad, regional selection camps, national training camp at NBA experience trip.
Iasasagawa ang skills clinics sa mga lalawigan ng Bacolod, Batangas, Cagayan De Oro, Cavite, Cebu, Metro Manila at Subic. Ang Regional Selection Camps ay itinakda sa Cagayan De Oro (Feb. 11-12), Lucena (Feb. 25-26), Cebu (March 11-12) at Metro Manila (April 1-2), kung saan ang mangungunang 37 lalaki at 37 babaeng camper ay mapapasama sa National Training Camp sa Manila sa Mayo 12-14.
Matapos ang camp, pipili ng 16 na player – walong lalaki at walong babae – para maging NBA All-Stars at pagkakalooban ng pagkakataon na makapanood ng NBA Game at makasalamuha ang kapwa campers mula sa ibang bansa.
