Ipinost din ni Carla ang bahagi ng script ng Metro Manila Film Festival entry na nakadetalye kung paano huhulihin ang aso, isinilid ang ulo sa sako saka papaluin ng dos por dos. Nasa script din na kailangang ipakita ang pagkatay sa aso, gagawing pulutan, at pagsasaluhan ng mga taga-barangay.

Ini-repost naman ni Heart ang statement ni Anna Cabrera, executive director ng Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), pati na ang picture ng aso noong buhay pa o bago kinatay.
“JUSTICE FOR THE DOG IN ‘ORO’ Here’s a screenshot of the dog that was slaughtered in Oro. The dog was put in a sack, beaten to death, skinned and gutted. Are the good reviews and awards the film got worth it at the cost of an innocent creature’s life?
“Now everyone who has to come out with an ‘official, carefully-worded’ statement-lawyers, non-lawyers, members of MMFF Execom, cast and crew members, Director Alvin Yapan -- I invite you to look into those eyes and tell us whether his life mattered.
“Whether his fear -- at the very moment this was filmed -- mattered. If it matters, if anything matters. At all. To us humans. That he was used as a helpless prop in this abomination of a film.”
Nag-comment si Heart ng, “Nakakahiya at nakakagalit. A life is a life and should never be trivialized for the sake of art or what have you. Such a shame.”
