Ilalantad ni Senator Leila de Lima ang Human Rights (HR) situation ng bansa sa kanyang talumpati sa Annual Conference on Cultural Diplomacy (ACCD) sa Berlin, Germany.

“The conference is a perfect opportunity to bring forward the human rights issues faced by the country, including our respective experiences, and gather support for actions that mitigate the prevailing culture of impunity,” ani De Lima.

Kasabay nito, iginiit din ni De Lima na isang impeacheable offense ang pag-amin kamakailan ni Pangulong Duterte na personal nitong pinatay ang mga drug suspect noong alkalde pa ng Davao City.

“I should say that that is an impeachable offense. That is a culpable violation of the constitution. That is betrayal of public trust and that constitutes high crimes because these are mass murders,” sinabi ni De Lima sa isang panayam sa telebisyon.
