DAVAO CITY – Nangako si Pangulong Rodrigo R. Duterte na ipaaalam niya sa 200 state leader at mga pangunahing opisyal ng Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting sa Lima, Peru na ang Pilipinas “is ready for business.”
Sa kanyang departure speech kahapon sa F. Bangoy International Airport dito, sinabi ni Duterte na bibigyang-diin niya ang kanyang 10-point socio economic agenda, lalo na ang pagpapagaan sa pagnenegosyo, mga reporma sa pamahalaan, massive investment sa imprastruktura, rural development at karagdagang investments sa human capital.
“This is an important opportunity for the Philippines to work closely with economic partners in the region to take stock of the efforts to facilitate economic growth and prosperity in Asia Pacific and to determine ways of moving forward to achieve shared goals,” aniya.
Sinabi niya na panata niyang gagawin ang lahat upang masiguro ang pag-usbong ng negosyo, lalo na ng micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sa bansa.
