Nagkasundo ang sports management agency Virtual Playground at ABS-CBN, Channel 23 para sa live broadcast ng Season 7 ng ASEAN Basketball League.

Ipinahayag nina seasoned sports agent Charlie Dy at Dondon Monteverde, CEO at President ng Virtual Playground ang tambalan matapos lagdaan ang memorandum of agreement sa pagitan nila at Jericho Ilagan, Chief Operating Officer ng ABL, at Dino Laurena, Head of Integrated Sports ABS-CBN.

Sinimulan ang ASEAN Basketball League noong 2009 sa Manila at sa season 2016-17 may kabuuang 71 laro sa liga simula sa Nobyembre 27.

Mapapanood sa ABS-CBN S+A Ch. 23 ang lahat ng laro na gaganapin sa Manila, gayundin ang live streaming sa sports.abs-cbn.com.

“When Virtual Playground first approached us for this project, we were very excited. We believe we can take basketball in this country and raise the game to a whole new level through our participation in the ABL,” pahayag ni Laurena.

Iginiit ni Dy, isa sa respetadong talent agent, na ang pagpapalabas ng laro ng live ay makatutulong para sa pag-unlad ng mga basketbolistang Pinoy.

“We Filipinos consider basketball our national sport,” sambit ni Dy.

“This is a chance for us to give Filipino athletes a platform to showcase our talents and abilities on an international level.”
