May nasisilip na pag-asa si Senator Loren Legarda na tuluyang mabubuo ang ozone layer kung magkakaisa ang sambayanan sa paglaban sa climate change.
Sa paggunita ng International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, sinabi ni Legarda na ang pagkakaisa at pagmamahal sa ating kapaligiran ang isa sa mga dahilan para matupad ito.
“The healing of our ozone layer through every nation’s adherence to the Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol is proof that when nations unite and work together, we can fight a challenge as great as ozone layer depletion. This should inspire us as we now aim to halt further warming of the planet,” ani Legarda. (Leonel M. Abasola)
