OFWs pinapipili: Repatriation o bagong employer sa Saudi

Maaaring mamili ang mga OFW kung lilipat sa ibang employer o umuwi sa Pilipinas.

“Nasa sa kanila if they decide to stay or to come home, nakahanda naman kami for repatriation,” sabi ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III matapos ihayag na naglabas ng direktiba ang gobyerno ng Saudi Arabia para i-renew ang work permit at iqama ng mga migranteng manggagawa ng Saudi Oger Ltd., isa sa mga naluging construction company sa Riyadh.

Binanggit ni Bello ang ulat mula kay Labor Attaché Rustico S.M. Dela Fuente, na tiniyak ng Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, at Passport Office ng Saudi Arabia na kaagad maipoproseso ang work permit at iqama o exit visa ng mga Pinoy na empleyado ng Saudi Oger Ltd.

“The officials from the Saudi Ministry of Labor assured us that upon receipt of the instructions from the King of Saudi, they immediately met with the Ministry of Interior and Passports Office so the work permits and iqama of our OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) will be processed,” wika ni Bello.
