Mabibigyan ng pagkakataon na makasama sa Malaysian football camp na pangangasiwaan ng pamosong Astro ang 12 mapipiling pinakamahuhusay na bata na lalahok sa isasagawang Globe Telecom’s Football Para sa Bayan clinic sa Iloilo, Talisay sa Negros Occidental, Davao at sa Manila.
“We are so proud that Astro has chosen our project TM Football Para sa Bayan as a venue to discover talented kids who would be given an opportunity to further harness their passion for sports of football and bring them closer to their dreams,” pahayag ni Globe Director for Citizenship Fernando “Bong” Esguerra.
Inilunsad ang naturang programa kamakailan na pangangasiwaan nina dating national coach Hans Peter Smit ng One Archers United Football Club at football ambassador Chieffy Calindog.
Isasagawa ang unang clinic sa Iloilo sa Hulyo 23, sunod sa Talisay sa Negros Occidental sa Hulyo 24, ikatlo sa Davao sa Agosto 13 at panghuli sa Agosto 30, sa De La Salle-Zobel sa Ayala, Alabang.
Volleyball fans may bagong aabangan sa PVL!
“Through our sports advocacy, we hope to forge similar partnerships with other like-minded organizations to help uplift the lives of the youth especially those from the marginalized sector and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and follow their dream of a better life through football,” sabi pa ni Esguerra.
Kabuuang 12 manlalaro ang pipiliin sa Iloilo at Talisay, habang walo sa Davao at walo sa Manila. Ang listahan ay babawasan sa huling 12 representante na magmumula sa Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao na hangad magkaroon ng parehas na bilang sa babae at lalaki na pipiliin mula sa overall ranking.
