Determinado si re-elected Pangasinan Rep. Marlyn L. Primicias-Agabas na isulong ang pagsisikap na mapalakas ang kapangyarihan ng estado sa pagbawi sa ill-gotten wealth o mga nakaw na yaman ng mga tao sa gobyerno.
Sinabi ni Primicias-Agabas na muli niyang isusulong sa 17th Congress ang panukalang magpapalakas sa forfeiture powers ng estado sa pag-amyenda sa ilang probisyon ng Republic Act No. 1379 o “An Act declaring forfeiture in favor of the State any property found to have been unlawfully acquired by any public officer or employee and providing for the proceedings therefor.”
“We have to update our laws to face to challenges of modern technology being used in crimes against the people and the State,” diin niya. (Bert de Guzman)
