“Together we can help send a child laborer to school. Just share and give happiness to another disadvantaged sector of our society—the children who are forced by circumstances to work and earn a living to support themselves and their families,” pahayag ni Lacambra.
“Anyone can make a difference…to help send a child laborer to school by donating a pencil and a notebook or educational supplies like books, backpacks and other needs of school children from the far flung villages and barangays in Baguio, Benguet and the Cordilleras,” pahayag ni Rotary Club of Baguio President Rommel Alcid.
“It is also encouraged that if there are benefactors who can provide the child laborer with scholarship, allowance for school or help provide livelihood for their parents,” dagdag niya.
