It’s a question of informed choice.
“We are taking this on a positive light on the policy pronouncement of president-elect Duterte on the issue of reproductive health. But while we are positive on this pronouncement, we also feel that the three child policy is an imposition…. The government should not impose,” ani Dongeto.
“The RH law is inspired from the many international human rights policies, which urged governments to shift from target na isa, dalawa, tatlong bata to the imposition of many services for families and individuals to choose. So informed choice ‘yung principle behind current discussions and mandate ng RH law. It provides for informed choice.
(Charina Clarisse L. Echaluce)
